In 2017, BASE Technologies signed a global Main Frame Agreement (MFA) contract with Axiata Group to supply Batteries to ROBI, it’s local brand in Bangladesh. The contract was signed in 2016 and the first batch of batteries for its BTS towers has been dispatched successfully in 2017. The contract also includes tower construction companies which BASE Technologies will be driving in the future.

BASE Technologies participated and got shortlisted in a Global Frame Agreement contract floated by Telenor Group in 2017 based on expertise and available resources. The GFA enclosed the requirement of Supplying Batteries, relevant equipment and services of all 11 subsidiaries of the Telenor group worldwide. More than 20 organizations were called in to Bangkok for technical and financial evaluation, in May 2017. The final negotiations commenced on June, 2017, in Singapore where BASE Technologies with their Strategic Partner, successfully signed an MoU with Telenor. Under this 5-year deal, BASE Technologies was selected to supply batteries, equipment and services in Myanmar & Malaysia and act as secondary supplier in all other countries where Telenor operates.

HUTCHISON

In March 2018, BASE Technologies signed a global contract with Hutchison Group, a Hong Kong based Global conglomerate, to supply VRLA batteries to its Srilankan operators. The product Purchase order was received in January 2018 and the first batch of batteries for its BTS towers has been dispatched successfully in April 2018. The contract includes supply and installation of the batteries in 152 sites all over Srilanka.

The contract also includes tower construction components which BASE technologies will be driving in the future.
